Josef Chmelík prize information
Josef Chmelík prize is a prize for the best publication in the field of proteomics by the first author affiliated with a Czech institution. Josef Chmelík (1953-2007) was one of the founders of proteomics in the Czech Republic and Eastern Europe and director of the Institute of Analytical Chemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Brno, CZ in 2001-2005. Registration is announced each spring and the first author is expected to send an electronic version of his/her work in pdf format.
All submitted papers are evaluated by six experts in the field based on their scientific quality, and the best paper is selected for the prize. The winner receives the prize at the awarding ceremony and presents his/her paper during 20 min English talk at the Informal Proteomic Meeting (2 days event at the end of November).
